We took a short walk up to Piazzale Michelangelo for fantastic views and enjoyed the relaxing pool area. The service was great and the breakfast was delicious. Definitely recommend the fresh pizzas by the pool and the local wines.
The check-in process was a bit disorganized and could have used more attention from staff.

Very welcoming and incredible staff, the breakfasts are DELICIOUS with views across the gardens. The location is great in a beautiful area, near to gardens and winding valley. Piazzale Michelangelo district certainly deserves to be visited.

Fantastic building and gardens. Excellent location only a pleasant 20 minute walk away from downtown Florence. Wonderful pool.
Even though we had booked a Deluxe double room described as "Large room with balcony overlooking Florence" we were at first shown to a tiny room with neither balcony nor view. Upon complaining we were given another very small room with a balcony. Still no Florence view. The room was small even by Italian standards and definately by Italian 5-star standards. It was a very charming room but it did not correspond to the description in Booked.net.

I booked the hotel as a surprise for my girlfriend. It is an amazing hotel, that is so well done with excellent staff. They were always helpful, but such nice personable people also. I found it excellent value for money against other hotels in town that you pay top dollar for location but little else. We loved the staff, the views, the restaurant, the pool, the room, the four poster bed, the history, and the spa! What a great stay! Highly recommended.
The only negative was that we had to leave.

This hotel is exceptional in every way. The staff, the rooms, the facilities, the location, the views, the magnificence of it all is just breath-taking. We could not have chosen a more romantic and wonderful place in which to enjoy our honeymoon - a huge thank you to all concerned. We will be back, for certain.

The cleanest hotel I've seen. Awesome interiors. Very cosy pool surrounded by a garden. Helpfull staff. In the reastarant they were able to cook what my child is used too. The hotel is about 40 minutes by walking from the city center, which is good (no tourists, big park nearby). There's a shuttle service and taxis arrive in about 5 minutes. Me and my 3 year-old daughter had a great stay.
The room was tiny, but the terrace with the view over Florence was enormous

An absolute gem! The glamorous decor took my breath away, and the elegant swimming pool was pure bliss after a long day. The staff was attentive.
The check-in process seemed like a comedy of errors-unless you enjoy waiting and confusion, in which case, bravo! Nearly lost my trendy earrings. Hide your valuables, darling!

Immaculate service, very helpful staff, I stayed there for the second time and my kid just loves their outdoor pool
The restaurant menu choice is a bit limited, but they are willing to cook whatever you might need for a small child

It is beautifully situated and the bedrooms and all open areas are very well designed and maintained. The staff are uniformly lovely.
Leaving it.

missingWrote a review on 18 Julpoor servicebilling error
The front desk service was downright appalling. We waited over 40 minutes for our luggage, only for it to arrive after we decided to go back up to the room. The cleaning staff rushed in as soon as we went to breakfast and took forever to leave, causing us to miss our scheduled shuttle into Florence. To top it off, I had booked and paid for everything, but they charged my brother for all our meals.
